Marc, I guess I'd be reluctant to say that either group was copying the other. Seems to me that Chicago and Placebo each came at their music from pretty different directions. The premise of Chicago was the addition of horns to a rock band. Placebo grew out of more traditional jazz, and added elements of rock and funk. That said, though they came at it differently, the end result is some kind of funky-jazzy-horn-rock thing in both cases. Anyway, I might have to revisit the couple of Chicago albums I've got in the stacks. Thanks for listening!</description>
